WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?
Lash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic extensions which are adhered with surgical grade adhesive one by one onto the natural lash, not the skin, by using a specially formulated glue that last 2-4 weeks.  Not to be confused with the strip lashes or individual clusters of lashes knotted together.

DOES THE APPLICATION OF THE EXTENSIONS HURT?
No, it is very relaxing and comfortable process. Most clients fall asleep.

DO THE EXTENSIONS HAVE TO BE MAINTAINED?
We recommend if that you like them to look full, then you should come for fills every 2-3 weeks. But daily maintenance would be to just clean them like you would your face at night and such, but with oil-free cleanser or eye makeup remover. It is best to avoid any oil based products on the lashes, also: direct steam, pulling, picking, crimping, cutting, direct contact with extreme heat, and excessive rubbing. DO THE EXTENSIONS HARM MY NATURAL LASHES?
No, the extension is adhered about one millimeter away from the base of the lid, never on the skin, and on one individual lash at a time. So that they are never stuck together and irritating. So when your natural lash sheds, the extension sheds with it.  Natural lashes have a shed cycle of every 60-90 days, and every single lash is on its own shed cycle.

CAN I SWIM WITH THE EXTENSIONS?
Yes, you can go about your normal activities and routines. That’s the beauty of it, no more runny mascara and raccoon eyes!

CAN I WEAR MASCARA?
Yes, but most realize that you would not need it. Some like to wear a little mascara right before a fill, when their lashes are sparse looking, but it will need to be oil free and no water-proof mascara. We carry mascara specifically for extensions.

DO YOU CARRY DIFFERENT LENGTHS, THICKNESSES AND CURL?
Yes, we have everything to fit your lash requests. Everything from natural to diva! We do take the time to consult with our clients and discuss what look they are trying to achieve, also looking at the health of their own natural lashes and shape of the eye. With our expert lash stylists to care for you and your lashes, you will leave happy and Lash’d Out!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
New clients and first timers will require a full set that requires a two hour appointment.  Fills (2-3 weeks) take an one hour and an extended fill (4-6 weeks) take an hour and a half.

CAN I WEAR CONTACTS?
Yes, but during the first initial application appointment, we recommend not wearing them due to the fact that your eyes are closed for a while and we want to avoid any irritation.
